The Hyderabad based Lanco Solar -Juwi Renewable India consortium has bagged an order of Rs.884.18 Cr from Mahagenco of Maharashtra government to set up a 75-MW photovoltaic solar power project at Dhule in the state.
Mr.V Saibaba, CEO of the Lanco Solar, a 100 percent subsidiary of the Lanco Infratech, said in a statement in Hyderabad that the project will be fully commissioned by mid-February, 2012. The company is already in the process of setting up the country’s first integrated Solar Manufacturing SEZ for manufacturing poly silicon ingots, wafers and modules in Chhattisgarh.
The company has recently commissioned India’s largest solar photovoltaic farm, with 5-MW capacity, in Gujarat, said the statement.
