Giddaluru PRP MLA quits assembly

Giddaluru PRP MLA quits assemblyPrakasam district’s Giddaluru PRP MLA Mr. A. Rambabu said today he had resigned from his assembly seat as he had failed to solve the problems of his constituency.

Addressing a press conference at his house in Markapuram, the MLA said he faxed his resignation letters to the Deputy Speaker Nadendla Manohar and PRP chief Chiranjeevi with a request to accept it immediately.

“It is two years since I was elected to the assembly but I was unable to solve the pending issues of the constituency. There is absolutely no cooperation from the government or the officials,” he told journalists.

He said his resignation has nothing to do with court cases. “I don’t have any selfish motives to my resignation,” he clarified.
