CPI state secretary Narayana said today that Telangana people are seeking the separate Telangana state with all its natural resources intact. Speaking to media persons in Hyderabad, Narayana said that the natural resources of Telangana are being destroyed and looted by the government and some exploiters together and the people would no longer tolerate it.

“What is the use of giving Telangana state after all its natural resources are exploited,” he asked and threatened to launch a movement if the government did not stop exploitation immediately. “The people want a Telangana state with all its natural resources intact for the welfare of their future generations,” he said.

Cautioning the government against going ahead with the looting and exploitation of the natural resources in the Telangana area, Narayana said his party would not keep quiet on the issue. He also asked the government to stop auctioning of the government lands in and around Hyderabad immediately.
