Meg star and PRP Chief Chiranjeevi will undertake a 3-day election campaign tour in Tamil Nadu on behalf of congress party from April 7.
The campaign by Chiru for congress will be limited to areas where the Telugu people would constitute majority. The constituencies, where the mega star till tour, are being finalized by the TNCC.
Congress sources in Chennai said today that senior congress leaders of TNCC will accompany the hero turned politician in his campaign in the Telugu dominated areas in the state. After completing the campaign in Tamil Nadu, the mega star will move to Pondicherry to take up election campaign there, again for congress from April 10.
Chiru wanted to visit Tamil Nadu as congress leader since he had decided to merge his PRP with congress but the Election Commission has not formally completed the merger process. He is now taking the electioneering trip in his capacity as PRP leader.
