Chief Marshall of the Assembly submitted his report on the TRS MLAs’ attack on the Lok Satta Chief and Kukatpalli MLA Jayaprakash Narayana to the Deputy Speaker Nadendla Manohar this morning.
It may be mentioned that the TRS MLAs and their driver attacked JP at the media point in the assembly on February 17 for commenting on their behaviour in the assembly during the Governor speech.
Manohar ordered the Chief Marshall to investigate and submit a report to him on the incident. The Chief Marshall recorded the statement of TRS MLAs Etela Rajender, Harish Rao and Vidyasagar and submitted his report to the Chair.
“We did not attack JP but we went only to question his statement to the media on our behaviour in the assembly. We even protected him from people attacking him,” they reportedly told the Chief Marshal in their statements.
