Rocked by chaos indulged in by the opposition MLAs for the second consecutive day of the budget session of the assembly today, Deputy Speaker Nadendla Manohar adjourned the proceedings of the house twice today before lunch hour.
As the house met for the day, members of the CPI and TDP served notices for adjournment motions on the issues of fee reimbursement while the members of TRS wanted to move adjournment motion on the Telangana issue but the Chair rejected all the notices provoking the members into raising slogans against the government.
TDP members raised slogans demanding fee reimbursement simultaneously with TRS members who raised Jai Telangana slogans creating confusion and pandemonium in the assembly. As chaos continued to prevail, the Chair adjourned the house for two times, first time for 10 minutes and second time for 30 minutes.
12 congress MLAs and 2 PRP members, owing allegiance to the former Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan reddy, came to the assembly holding placards which said: Make the fee reimbursement immediately.
