CEC clears ‘YSR Party’ title for Jagan

As the former Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan reddy cherished and dreamt, the Central Election Commission today cleared the title ‘YSR Party’ for his new political outfit, it is learnt.
CEC, ‘YSR Party’, Jagan, title for the new partyJagan submitted two titles for his new party-YSR Party and YSR Praja Party-and requested the election authorities to confirm any of the two titles for his new political party. The office of CEC has reportedly sent a communication to Jagan today suggesting he can use the title ‘YSR Party’ for his new party.

Jagan actually decided to use the title ‘YSR Congress Party’ registered by somebody for his new party as the Election Commission has delayed its decision on his application. This title was registered by a person in Nalgonda district and Jagan wanted to buy it from him and use the title in the ensuing bye elections for the Kadapa Lok Sabha and Pulivendula assembly constituencies.

Jagan, who actually wanted the title ‘YSR party’ or the ‘YSR Praja Party’ avoiding the word congress in the title, has now got what he wanted from the election commission. Now, instead of using the title YSR Congress party, Jagan may go ahead with the YSR Party allotted to him by the authorities.
