The kidnappers, who had kidnapped the sixth class student Anvesh Chandra in Gudiwada of Krishna district last month, had killed him.

The gang of the three kidnappers, led by Prabhu kumar, had admitted to their crime before the police after their arrest today. Police said that the kidnappers had some financial dealings with Mr Venkata Ramesh, father of the slain boy Anvesh.

After the differences had cropped up, the three of them planned the kidnap to take vengeance on his father.

“The gang kidnapped the boy on Sept 23 and demanded a ransom of Rs.10 lakh. The father refused to give the ransom in exchange of getting his son released,” said the police. Later, the abductors killed the boy and buried him in the backyard of the house of Prabhu, one of the kidnappers.

Police are on the job of taking out the body of Anvesh Chandra, said a senior police officer, adding that the culprits would be punished severely.
