Rajnikanth who needs no introduction with millions of fans all over the earth has attained 63 years today. He was born on December 12, 1950 at Bangalore as Shivaji Rao Gaikwad became popular as Rajnikanth for the cine lovers on entering the cinema world with Apoorva Ragangal under the direction of K.Balachander in which Kamal Haasan was in the lead role. He became popular in AP with Telugu movie “Anthuleni Katha” directed by K.Balachander. He entered Hindi cinema with “Hum” with Amitabh Bachchan in 1991.
As a spiritualist he made “Baba” inspired by the Mahavatar Baba. His latest films “Chandramukhi” and “Robo” left unforgettable impact on Telugu audience. His mannerism and dialogue delivery including his throaty laugh made him the most favorite star in Indian Cinema. He is also a great philanthropist.
All his fans are eagerly waiting for his “Kochadaiyaan” movie directed by his daughter Soundarya which is delayed due to Rajnikanth’s ill health. But they say that the health of Rajani is more important than anything else.
