Universal actor Kamal Haasan has been in news for quite sometime due to the hiccups he has been facing in releasing Vishwaroopam in Tamil Nadu. The state government has finally withdrawn its ban on the movie after Mr Kamal Haasan has reached to an agreement with certain Muslim groups, who objected the release of the movie. While the movie was released in Telugu version on January 25 itself, the original Tamil version was pushed into the pipeline by Jaya sarkar.
Kamal Haasan moved the court and got a nod from the judiciary to ensure that the movie gets released. But within moments, chief minister J Jayalalitha challenged the decision and the order was stayed. Kamal Haasan even came in front of the media and lashed out at the government. He expressed his ire by stating that he would be willing to reside in another state and if he doesn't find democracy even there, he would go exile.
This very statement of Kamal Haasan not only moved the public but made several political parties and its leaders to come in support of Mr Kamal Haasan. Also, it was believed that Kamal Haasan was close to DMK and it was due to the obvious reason that Vishwaroopam release got delayed.
Anyway, all political parties are now pacifying Kamal Haasan and inviting him to joining politics. Looks like Kamal Haasan is also quite disturbed with the political situation in the state and he's most likely to plunge into politics to work against Jayalalitha, said sources.
Whether Vishwaroopam would be a hit or flop, it has presumably taught so many things to Kamal Haasan including patience and perseverance. A new date for Vishwaroopam release would be announced soon. Let us wish that the efforts of Kamal Haasan don't go waste.
