Warnie avoids embroilment of confrontation at the Derby

Well it was a God save the fans of an awkward confrontation of the cricketing legend Shane Warne and his ex-wife Simone Callahan at the Derby day in Flemington. The parted couple was to make it up at the races with their new found loves, and an embarrassment was due for both. But the clever Warne and Elizabeth Hurley didn't show up for the race day.

Callahan said she was oblivious to all the attention her ex-husband has received since arriving in Melbourne last week. She personally felt the parting was for good. It's not known if Warne and Hurley will ever go to the races at all, as the couples are keen to avoid all the craziness that comes along with every public appearance. But on the other hand Callahan attended the event with model Toby Roberts, son of St Kilda champion and 1958 Brownlow medalist Neil Roberts.
