Heroine Asin, who originally hails from Kerala, is doing a movie in her mother tongue Malayalam after a gap of ten years.
Asin, who found her stardom in all southern languages after making a debut in the Malayalam movie ‘Narendran Makan Jayakantan Vaka’ a decade ago, did not find time to act in movies of her mother tongue after that.
She has however agreed now to sign a Malayalam movie in which she will pair with super star Mammootty. It will be directed by Shyam Prasad. “I feel privileged to act in a movie of my mother tongue after a gap of ten years. I am really happy for this,” she said after signing the movie.
Asin is also busy with two Hindi movies ‘House Full-2’ and ‘Bol Bachchan’ which are under the sets.
