Reduce Attachment to Possessions

Live like a monk. Keep what you need and remove unwanted things from your home and life. Too many things tend to clutter your home and mind. So, try to constantly reduce attachment towards your possessions and fill your life with happiness.

Lack of interest in material things make you a carefree person. Those who have an obsession for material desires will have a tough time in case they lose their worldly belongings due to an unfortunate incident or event that is man-made or caused by nature.

Individuals who have minimal needs for worldly possession are more substance and full of content. People like Swami Vivekananda or MK Gandhi lead a life of minimal possession. Yet they are among the greatest people known in this world.
