After the marriage of Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor whom he dated earlier, Shahid Kapoor whose film career has come to a standstill recently has visited the newly weds and congratulated them.

He wished them a happy married life but when asked about his opinion of marriage in general he says, "I think ek din sabko phasna hai. But I am happy wherever I am. I will analyse when I get married”, hinting that marriage is a trap.

Saif and Kareena had dated for five years before they took the decision to marry. Earlier she dated Shahid but they broke up during the filming of 'Jab We Met'.

"I would like to congratulate the family first. Marriage is a big occasion for the family. I have known Babita and Randhirji for a while. A daughter's marriage is a big thing.” He later added, “The decision to get married is a big one. I wish Saif and Kareena a happy married life," talking to reporters who were at the event.

"I hope they stay happy together. I hope Kareena works after marriage also, she is one of the finest actresses," he said.
