Dirty Picture star, Vidya Balan has been known to act in some raunchy roles in the last spew of films but her attitude says that her luscious character is confined to the reel and is far from real. Recently she had been spotted at a book launch where she had a tough time battling the profanities. She hesitated a lot to say the F-word and conveniently replaced the word saying “beep”.

The star has made her public appearance at the launch of the latest book by Munmun Ghosh. Vidya chose to read a few paragraphs from the book aloud for the audience trying to catch a glimpse of her. She had to stop herself short of a sentence midway while adding “beep” to replace the profanity.

Immediately after, Vidya turned to the author saying: "There was no way I was going to say those words!"

Ghost talking to the media praised Vidya saying, "Each individual has his set of rules for himself. Vidya stood by her rules."
