Teraa Surroor Story
Raghu (Himesh Reshammiya), a gangster hides his identity and gets engaged to Tara (Farah Karimi), a singer. After few days, Tara who comes to know the actual fact, ends the relation and part ways.
Meanwhile, Tara flies to Ireland, where she will be a victim of false drug peddling. With no other option left, Tara then calls Raghu for the support. The way, he chases the mystery and solves the issue and the struggle to win back his love, is rest of the story all about.
Teraa Surroor Analysis
Teraa Surroor has been loosely written. Most of the characters appear too filmy and the narration is absolute dim. Though the plot has scope of making the audience engaged with the edge of the seat experience, the poor screenplay, makes one relax and take a good nap for a while.
The movie dips down badly at regular intervals. The complete movie has been predictable and even the climax is shot in an old style. Tera Surroor drastically disappoints the audience, who enters into the theater, keeping in mind the first part excitement (Aap ka Surroor).
Performance
“A donkey should only do the donkey’s duty”. This popular saying reminds in every scene of Himesh Reshammiya in the film, making one question themselves that, why this singer has turned an actor?
The strong belief on consistency, made Himesh Reshammiya stick to the single expression in the entire film. To the fate of the audience, even in the intimate episodes, he carried on the same expression.
Farah Karimi proved that, there can even be the beginner’s beginner in acting. I bet she do not even know the spelling of acting and wise makers, would not opt her into another film, unless the story has nothing to do with the acting. Talented actors like Naseeruddin Shah and Shekar Kapoor just wasted their dates. All the other actors are just ok.
Though Teraa Surroor’s story has some significance, the outdated screenplay makes it boring. The pathetic music makes one feel pathetic back on the music director and adding to the headache, the already boring songs are misplaced in the film, making one laugh loud, at the makers fate.
Cinematography is the major highlight of Teraa Surroor and the production values of the movie have been rich enough. Now don’t ask me about the direction and don’t dare to know about it, as it might haunt you in the late nights.
Teraa Surroor Final Word
Teraa Surroor has found all the ways to play with the audience mood. I feel no other movie in the near future, would remain as this range of butt of a joke.
