Loafer Analysis

Loafer Movie Review and Ratings

Most of the scenes in the first half are predictable. A few of the comedy episodes are ok. The songs are shot in the most irritating way, that too in weird locations. Varun Tej and Disha Patani’s fresh performance, may make a few, enjoy the scenes between them.

Coming to the second half, it is not at all related to what the director had told in the first half. The second half was diverted to a completely different platform, where the audience would feel that, they are watching a fresh film again. Except a few of the emotional episodes between Revathi and Varun Tej, there is nothing more to discuss about Loafer.

Performance

After two low profile movies, Loafer is a full fledged mass movie to Varun Tej. He could live up to the expectations of the mega fans, by showing the identity of mega blood, in performing the mass characters. His energy is the only hope for the Loafer movie to survive.

Even, Disha Patani could could steal the hearts, with her slimness, without missing the element of sexiness. Revathi and Posani Krishna Murali excelled with their experience and they have taken care of the emotional episodes. All the other actors have been decent with their assignments.

As said before, the story has nothing new to say. But the rugged screenplay, makes the mass audience whistle, for a few of the scenes. Most of the songs are misplaced.

The music and the background score have been just ok and the cinematography is the major highlight of the movie. The production values have been grand enough and the rich visuals have been suitable.

The fast track director, Puri Jagannath, who generally concentrates on the speed he can make a movie, more than the subject, did the same for Loafer too and bagged the credit of holding another flop, in his list.

Loafer Final Word

May be due to the fear of not getting Varun Tej dates again, Puri Jagannath narrated two different stories in the two halfs of the film. But the audience, who bought the ticket for just one story, are so loyal that, they are not able to watch the second story in the second half for free, and so leaving the theaters in between.
