Bengal Tiger Story
Akash (Raviteja) is an easy going guy, who aims a big future, taking the least risk. He tries to use his potentiality to become a huge celebrity, but the things change, after the entry of the Agriculture Minister(Shiyaji Shindey).
After a few of the key scenes, he then moves to Home Minister Nagappa (Rao Ramesh) and turns as his personal security. Meanwhile, Akash gets impressed by Nagappa’s daughter Shradda (Rashi Khanna) and falls in love with her.
The twist is, he decides to get married to Meera (Tamannah), the only daughter of Chief Minister Ashok Gajapathi (Boman Irani).
What are the situations that made Akash turn towards Meera and how is Shiyaji Shindey connected to the story. The answers to all these questions, forms the rest of the story.
Bengal Tiger Analysis
There are many illogical scenes in the first half, but that does not stop one from getting entertained with the hilarious comedy episodes. Raviteja’s identical mass entertainment, is at the required dose in Bengal Tiger movie.
Especially, Posani Krishna Murali and Prudhvi’s comedy connect well and raises loud laughs in the theatre. The pre-interval episodes would be predictable. Even then, the whole first half is quite entertaining.
It is the second half, that completely spoiled the film. Especially the director tried to make several manipulations with the screenplay, but as it does not have gripping, most of the scenes appear silly. There are several unwanted episodes in the second half, which are nowhere connected to the main plot. Even omitting the explanations of the main logics, irritates the audience.
Not surprisingly, the climax ends up, with a huge action episode. The complete second half is the major downfall of the movie.
Performance
Ravi Teja earned an identity of mass raja. But he could not keep up that identity this time. After the huge disappointment with Kick 2, he again, disappoints with his lean looks in Bengal Tiger too.
On the other side, Rashi Khanna has been glamorous, after losing the weight, which can be luckily felt on the screen.
Even, Tamannah has been mind blowing throughout, with her spicy appearances, especially in the songs. Her limited screen presence, does not effect the movie, as she could satisfy the naughty audience, in those few minutes itself.
Rao Ramesh, Boman Irani and Shiyaji Shindey have been impressive with their assigned roles. Posani Krishna Murali, Prudhvi and Shankar made sure that they entertained the audience. All other actors have been decent throughout the movie.
Bengal Tiger story is quite predictable. There is nothing new to discuss about the plot. Unfortunately, even screenplay could not show any uniqueness.
The dialogues have been decent enough and the comedy episodes have been written well. The music and the background score have been good enough and well contributed. The cinematography is very attractive. The production values have been very rich. The director Sampath Nandi failed to come out with an engaging second half, which ruins the complete flavour of the movie.
Bengal Tiger Final Word
Along with the normal audience, even Sampath Nandi might have loved several mass entertainers, made in Tollywood, in the past. He loved them to that level, that he could not stop himself from bringing the same into his film, with the different title called Bengal Tiger. So, if you are ready to open your wallet to watch the same, you can do it, at your own risk.
