Size Zero Story
Sweety (Anushka) works in a restaurant staying with her mother, brother and grandfather. Upon being fat, Sweety gets rejected by a number of guys and at a point of time, her mother (Urvasi) feels that, marriage to Sweety is out of the question.
It is then, Abhi (Arya) who has not interest in getting married, comes to see Sweety. The duo comes to an understanding, ending up Sweety rejecting him.
After that, Sweety and Abhi would be as good friends. Meanwhile, upon her mother’s force, Sweety joins in a weight loss program called Size Zero. In the process, she comes to know that, to decrease the weight, they use many drugs, which are harmful for health. How Sweety fights to prove that Size Zero is all fake, forms the rest of the story.
Size Zero Analysis
The story line appears new, unless you have a good command over English movies. But the screenplay makes the story interesting. The first half has enough entertainment, targeting the fatness of Anushka. Even the songs are shot in a unique way and would be liked by many.
A few minutes of the second half, appears draggy, but later it takes on to a finer note. Especially, the pre-climax episodes boosts up and gives the required pace. Giving the social message under currently, the climax is shot with the great narration techniques.
Performance
Anushka is surely the king of Size Zero. The effort she took, to gain the weight, to suit the character is appreciable. Her performance as a fat girl and mostly her comedy side is elevated well in Size zero movie. One would easily accept that Anushka has a a good humor side, after watching Size Zero movie.
Arya and Sonal Chauhan have been decent in the supporting roles. Prakash Raj and Adivi Sesh did their best for their assigned characters. All the other actors have been satisfactory.
The way Size Zero story is executed, surely draw the attention of many. Dialogues are the sure mention in the Size Zero movie.
Music by Keeravani is unbelievable. He could perfectly catch the pulse of the youth, through trendy songs and little effort on background score, would have made the movie better. The cinematography is an asset for the film and the production values are rich. Director Prakash Kovelamudi directional skills can be felt on the screen. He does his job perfectly this time, after a debacle like Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu.
Size Zero Final Word
Size Zero will be liked by all classes of the audience and mostly by the multiplexes. Especially Anushka’s cool going performance, after the hardcore Baahubali and Rudramadevi, will give a good relief to her fans.
