How did the rapport developed between the duo in this process and where it lead to and how come Anuradha rescued her daughter from the criminals and brought back, forms the rest of the story.
Jazbaa Analysis
Jazbaa is not a cinematic kind of script. It is more realistic kind. The story is inspired from a Korean film “Seven Days”. Except a few of the countable scenes, there are no much dips in the screenplay.
A scene where Aishwarya comes across her daughter and outbursting under a bridge, takes the audience mood into a pathetic world. At a time, where the movie is said to be dipping down, Irfan Khan’s entry and his humor punches, fills the smiles into the still faces of the audience in the theatre.
The scenes where Yohan supporting Aishwarya and his secret admiration towards her, grabs all the attention. On the whole, Jazbaa script perfectly suits Aishwarya Rai, probably nothing might be better than this, for her comeback.
Performance
Undoubtedly Aishwarya Rai steals the show. It would be tough to judge whether it is a director’s effort to nurture her into the character or her own homework, but Aishwarya gave a stupendous performance in Jazbaa movie. Her acting levels, especially in the emotional scenes and dialogue delivery, are the main assets of Jazbaa movie.
Though the story is inspired from a Korean film, it is adopted to the mindset of the Bollywood audience. Music is ok and the cinematography is realistic. The screenplay is very gripping and it suits the plot of the movie. The production values are decent enough. The editing has few flaws, but the length of the movie is advantageous and wraps up, before the audience change their mind.
Finally Sanjay Gupta gave his best to Jazbaa and brought out a fine realistic entertainer and gave a grand comeback to the India’s pride Aishwarya Rai.
Jazbaa Final Word
Jazbaa movie suits those, who likes suspense and emotion genres. Aishwarya’s Rai stupendous performance makes us walk to the ticket counter for the second time.
