Hero Analysis

Hero Movie Review and Ratings

Right from the first frame of the film, the makers tried to project Sooraj in a stylish way. He was seen in the shirtless poses several times in the film. In fact, projecting his semi naked body for more than a minute every while, will test the patience of the audience.

As expected before, the story lacked uniqueness. As all the twists are known on the beforehand, there is nothing to excite in Hero movie.

There are chances for tuning the script to make it relative to the present generation. But the makers did not do any such attempts and presented it as it is, with a minor changes in between.

The Romeo Juliet episode in the second half, is another big downfall of the Hero movie. The minutes it telecasted will literally break the doors and go out of the theatre. However, though it is not a promising one, Hero movie has a decent love story, which might enthrall a particular section of the audience.

Performance

Sooraj and Athiya Shetty are given their tailor-made roles in the hero movie. However, Sooraj failed in showing the variation between the goon in the first half and the lover boy in the second half, where in the original version, Jackie perfectly projected it. Athiya’s performance seems decent and hints that she can do more in the future.

Tigmanshu Dhulia and Aditya Pancholi have performed well and done justice to their roles. Sharad Kelkar as Athiya's brother in the Hero movie has given a satisfactory performance. Rest others are good.

Cinematography in Hero movie needs a loud applause, the worth of the work can be clearly felt on the screen. But the editing is poor. It can be felt through the abrupt scene changes and continuous shots.

Director Nikhil Advani could have taken a bit extra care for Hero movie. His directional skills this time needs to be questioned.

Hero Final Word

Apart from Salman Khan’s special song, Hero movie has nothing new to say or see.
