Upendra 2 Story
Upendra 2 starts from where, Upendra movie has ended. Nenu (Upendra) re-surfaces in a remote village with a new name Nuvvu. A press reporter named Lakshmi(Christina Akiva) will be attracted to Nuvvu’s unique philosophies and the way he lives his life and then decides to marry him.
As days passed, Lakshmi comes to know that, Nuvvu’s flash back is indirectly related to her property and then the actual twist comes in the story. What is the flash back and why is he called Nuvvu? The plot of Upendra 2 movie, answers all these questions.
Upendra 2 Analysis
Upendra 2 is a psychological thriller. Upendra character in the film is very bold enough. Any actor might have faced a tough time portraying it other than Upendra, as it has the scope of facing criticisms from the society. His old get up will surely give goosebumps in some scenes. The screenplay and the dialogues are gripped very well. Especially the double meaning dialogues in the second half will attract the masses.
The script is totally confusing. One needs to have a special attention as to exactly understand what is happening. Unless and otherwise, if you have a very keen observation, Upendra 2 cannot give you the required kick. The entire script of Upendra 2 movie, has a lot of uniqueness. The twist at the interval bang will be the major highlight of the first half.
Performance
Upendra 2 is the sequel of Upendra movie, which is a super hit at that time. Actor cum director Upendra gave his out and out stupendous performance for the second part too. To put it in one word, Upendra 2 is a complete one man show of Upendra. Heroine Christina Akiva is decent in her role. Kristina Akheeva and Parul Yadav gave terrific performances and rest other characters supported well for Upendra 2 movie.
Guru Kiran’s music is ok, but he has to be appreciated for terrific background score. Dialogues are a sure mention in Upendra 2 movie. It will reach to the audience for sure. Camera work is decent and the production values are very good.
Upendra as a director seems to lack focus this time. Most of the scenes, though has the content, the narration levels appear silly. Screenplay is the major drawback of Upendra 2 movie, which literally makes you leave the theatre for few scenes.
Upendra 2 Final Word
Upendra 2 is Upendra’s one man show. The script and characterization of Upendra is completely unique. But the narration is not proper. However Upendra 2 still thoroughly entertains the audience, who likes unique scripts.
