Most awaited Movie, in Tollywood these days, ‘Veera’. The film is finally released today. No doubt ‘Veera’ is another Mass film from Ravi Teja. What else can we expect? But yes, couple of songs in the film is good. ‘Veera’ is a onetime watcher. But, if you are a kind of family or youth audience then this film is definitely not for you. Director Ramesh Varma succeeded in making another stereo Type story like ‘Veera’.

Story:

Veera (Raviteja) comes in disguise of a security officer to save his sister (Sridevi) family. Veera is a good man who fights for his people. But his sister doesn’t like him to see as a killer. Therefore he hides that from her. However, she comes to know about this when her family gets brutally killed by Veera’s enemy Rayudu (Pradeep Rawat). Veera loses his wife Kabaddi Chitti (Kajal) and step mother (Roja) too. How he avenges their death and saves his sister family forms rest of the story.

Analysis:

Veera is a routine film with some action and masala and sentiment and un related comedy in it. Tapsee’s role is quite unreasonable in the film. There is no single fresh point in the film. Prior to film’s release there was a much hype made about the film. But after the release, the film seems to be OK and nothing more. This film does nothing but shows the Heroism of Ravi Teja.

Performances:

Raviteja looked shabby in the film. It seems he has no interest in doing this flick. In many situations he under acted the situations. His expressions were not upto the mark. Even Ravi Teja’s chemistry with Bramhanandam, in the comedy scenes. Kajal was a bit better when compared to Tapsee. But, even Kajal had not much to do in the film. As far as the Villain Pradeep Rawat’s role is concerned, as usual he was standard.

Technicalities:

Thaman SS music seems to be ok. Obviously, we can find most of the tunes as repetitive. Abburi Ravi dialogues were not up to the mark. Chota K Naidu’s cinematography is Good. Editing by Gowtam Raju isn’t right enough. Production values are good.

Final Word: Veera is a below average film. It is completely a Mass film.
