Noted director Gautham Vasudev Menon, who has exhibited his acting skills by appearing in a handful of cameos, is all set to make his full-fledged acting debut in a film starring Nayanthara.

If reports are to be believed, Gautham Menon will play a character with shades of grey in the upcoming Tamil film titled 'Imaikka Nodigal'. The film also has Tamil actor Atharvaa playing the love interest of Nayanthara. Confrontation scenes between Nayanthara and Gautham Menon are said to be the most thrilling aspects of the movie. However, an official confirmation on this has yet to be made.

The 'Ye Maaya Chesave' director was earlier supposed to make his acting debut in a Malayalam film but due to his busy schedules, it didn't materialize. It is expected that Gautham Menon will also become an in-demand actor, just like SJ Suriyah did, after the release of this film.

On the other hand, release of Gautham Menon's "Sahasame Swasaga Sagipo" is still in doldrums. The director is currnelty busy with the shooting of “Enai Noki Paayum Thota” starring Dhanush in lead role.
