Being a comeback film, that too 150th film of Chiranjeevi, who has been stealing the hearts for decades, obviously the expectations would reach the sky.

Needless to say, mega star has huge following among the masses and his comeback film would work out well, only if it is an out and out mass entertainer.

Though movies like Tagore are super hit, the thought of Chiranjeevi takes the audience to the mass movies like Mutha Mesthri, Indra, Shankar Dada MBBS etc.

So after the years of gap to the films, the fans and even the normal audience are expecting him to make a mass entertainer, unlike Kaththi, which is far from the mass elements and deals with the social responsibility.

Though VV Vinayak tries to manage the script, adding the commercial mass elements, it would end up giving negative results, as Katthi script does not demand those elements.

Moreover, the audience who already watched Katthi, would not show interest to watch the same again, even a star like Chiranjeevi is in the lead. So that section of audiences, would be away from Kaththi again.

So in any way, Katthi is expected to do more loss than gain to the mega star, the film nagar talk says. Taking the current hurdles Kaththi script is facing as negative sign, hope Chiranjeevi stays away from Kaththi and think of some new subject.
