Recently, Samantha was heard to generously tell media that she would charge no fee if she is offered an out of the box, performance oriented artistic role. Big or small budgets don't matter to her as long the script is good, she wanted to say. But, she has once again clarified that the statement comes with conditions attached.

According to her, she would take a cut in the film's profits, much like how some of the popular actors do. She would never work for free, she reportedly said. Free or no, film makers would still love to have her in their films as she carries a golden girl tag in the industry. This year, she was part of two of the biggest blockbusters, SVSC and Attarintiki Daredi.

Samantha even managed to grab the costumes of Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan for a charity. Since no actress has extended a hand for the charity, Sam is extremely grateful to the actors. She even expressed her elation at the kind words Pawan Kalyan said about her at the AD success meet. His complements are as good as an award, she said. The cute actress is in a position where many will offer her remuneration even before she asks. Still, Samantha made it clear that her acting will not come absolutely free.
