She made her debut with ‘Ala Modalaindi’. Unlike many other new comers who hardly get recognized with their first couple of films, Nitya Menon managed to get some immense amount of fan following and craze in the industry and most important her acting skills were recognized with her first film. On top of this, even ‘Ala Modalaindi’ becoming a success of the year, there was no looking back top Nitya.

But, it was her decision o carefully choose among the films she has been offered and to give importance to the roles she is acting rather than acting in any other big hero’s film. As of now, Nitya is coming with Nitin in ‘Ishq’ and another untitled film with Nara Rohit. And of course, both these films of her give her a lot of scope to showcase her acting skills a swell.

Apart from her talent and look, Nitya became famous for her comments on the press asking if given a chance she would act with Prabhas or not… well, later on everything was set right.

As of now, apart from these two projects in Telugu, Nitya has not signed any other film.

The Actress who is waiting for ‘Ishq’s release and is much confident on the success of the film says she likes to be compared with senior actress, but only to certain extent, ‘I love when people compare my looks and acting skills with great Heroine Soundarya, but anything after certain limit is very hard to take as it questions your own talent’, said the actress.
