Right from ‘Businessman’ is announced in the combo of Mahesh – Puri, there were lot of expectations about the film. On top of this, the film has created a history when PuriJagannath has declared the release date of the film, right on the launch date… the film released and is creating its own set of success. Mahesh’s characterization as ‘SuriyaBhai’ has been the major for the film and Puri’s way of storytelling, dialogues and certain convincing logic points that are talked in the film put together made ‘Businessman’ a block buster success.

During the hexa platinum disk function of the film, yesterday, Mahesh had his own version to talk about the film, ‘I neither believed nor would believe in any image trap. All I aspire to do is a film that is completely different from my earlier films. ‘Businessman’ has once again fulfilled the urge in me. Puri has told me he is done with preparing the script for ‘Businessman – 2’, but I have not heard the same till now. I am happy on receiving complements from the film makers like RGV. As far as the Number One position is concerned, I consider every other hero as my competitor and work for my survival. I am not uncomfortable in playing the character in this film that has a bit of negative shades. I was completely convinced with the character and its shades and I suppose even the audience are today, after watching the film’, said the Actor who is more than happy to bag a consecutive success with ‘Businessman’ after ‘Dookudu’…

Mahesh also promised here after he would do films that do not take much long time in the shooting…
