Investigators have reportedly come to know that the murder of faction leader Maddelacheruvu Suri was carried out by two of his close associates Bhanu Kiran and Madhu. Both of them conspired to eliminate Suri as he began trying to know the details of settlements made by them. Police came to know these details after interrogating nine of Bhanu’s associates, according to a story published in a daily.

Suri was left with no money when he came out of the jail and had got a shock of his life after knowing the details of settlements they were making using his name. Even for small pocket expenditure also, Suri began depending on their associates Bhanu and Madhu. Unable to bear the humility of taking money from them, Suri tried to know the accounts of settlements from them. Suri specially concentrated to know the details of a big property dispute of a Vijayawada based industrialist settled by them and the remuneration they got.

The story also says that Bhanu simultaneously began turning himself into a boss and successfully attracted the old followers of Suri without his knowledge. Quoting police officials, the daily says that Suri doubted their loyalty to him as gradually all his followers began distancing from him. Finally he kept a watch on their moments and started questioning them on settlements. Sensing danger from Suri, Bhanu and Madhu hatched a conspiracy to eliminate him.

When they killed him, Madhu took him to hospital while Bhanu ran away as per the pre-conceived plan to divert police attention, the story says. The investigations are almost complete but police have yet to arrest Bhanu.
