Gopichand Joins Dasara Race: Manly Star Gopichand is desperate for success and most of his recent offerings ended up as disappointments. The actor pinned many hopes on Chanakya which got delayed by months after Gopichand injured himself while performing an action stunt. The film completed shoot recently except a couple of songs and Chanakya is in final stages of post-production. As per the update, the makers of Chanakya are in plans to release the film on October 5th during Dasara season.

Megastar Chiranjeevi's Syeraa and Venkatesh - Naga Chaitanya starrer Venky Mama are already announced for Dasara release. Chanakya is a spy thriller and Gopichand plays a RAW agent in this action thriller. Thiru is the director and Mehreen is the leading lady. Anil Sunkara's AK Entertainments are the producers. Couple of songs from Chanakya are currently canned in Europe and the entire shoot will be wrapped up with this.
