Balakrishna to essay the role of a Hindu theologian: Nandamuri Balakrishna has been doing many interesting films and his performance in Gautamiputra Satakarni has been widely appreciated. The actor's recent outing Jai Simha has been a smashing hit and emerged as the Sankranthi winner which released on January 12th. Veteran director KS Ravikumar helmed the project while Nayanathara played the female lead. On this eve, All India Brahmins Association felicitated the actor in Hyderabad and speaking on the occasion, the actor revealed that he is keen on essaying the role of Ramanujacharya, the Hindu theologian. Ramanujacharya fought against caste, religion and wanted people under one umbrella. Though the details of the project have been kept under wraps, Balakrishna clarified that he would essay the role of Ramanujacharya during his 60th birthday. The actor has an interesting line up of movies and will next be seen in the biopic of his father late NTR.
