Fidaa Crosses A Milestone In USA:- Sensible filmmaker Sekhar Kammula who impressed the Tollywood audience bigtime with his initial films did not make it easy with his recent outings. He has been out of reach for over couple of years. He penned an interesting love story however it was not so easy to impress star actors. He then decided to make it with an interesting team after which he approached top filmmaker Dil Raju. The ace producer has been extremely impressed with the plot after which he decided to rope in Varuntej for the role.

After an extensive search, the makers finalized Sai Pallavi for the role and they had to wait for months for the actress to be arrived as she was pursuing her medicine. The movie has been wrapped up as per the plan and it released all over on July 21st. The movie’s teaser and the songs have been hard hitting after which Fidaa opened with packed houses and huge response. The film performed exceptionally well across the cities and overseas. Sekhar Kammula’s top notch narration along with Sai Pallavi’s stupendous performance made Fidaa a massive hit all over.

The movie performed exceptionally well across the overseas circles and it has been quite strong in the second and third weeks too in USA which never happens generally. The movie crossed the magical mark of 2 million USD recently and Fidaa is the first small film without stars to achieve the milestone. Shakthi Kanth composed the music and the audio album is a smashing hit already. Dil Raju bankrolled Fidaa on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. The movie has been made on a budget of Rs 16 crores and the movie is expected to collect Rs 40 crores in its final run. The movie unit has been left delighted with the super success of Fidaa.
