Fidaa Trimmed by 25 Minutes:- Super talented filmmaker Sekhar Kammula scored some decent hits in his career like Anand, Godavari, Happy Days and Leader. However his career graph has not been stable after that and Sekhar Kammula tasted a series of debacles. After a long gap, he is making his comeback with Fidaa. Young actor Varuntej and Malayalam beauty Sai Pallavi are the lead actors in the movie which completed shoot recently. The movie is all about the love story of NRI guy and a Telangana girl. The released promos and the songs have been getting wide applause from the audience.

The movie is busy with the post-production work and the makers are in plans to release the film next week. The latest news we hear is that the film’s producer Dil Raju who watched the film recently asked the director Sekhar Kammula to chop off the film by 25 minutes. Dil Raju felt that episodes to be dragged and asked Sekhar Kammula to ready the final copy with 2 hours 15 minutes runtime. Sekhar Kammula is currently working on the draft and Raju will take the final call after he watches the film. The movie will appear for censor scrutiny next week after Dil Raju watches the final draft.

Varuntej pinned massive hopes on Fidaa as all his recent films ended up as disappointments. Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations produced the movie and Shakthi Kanth composed the music. Sai Pallavi who has terrific craze down south is playing the female lead in the movie. Her performance is said to be the major highlight of the film. She dubbed for her role in the movie and will be speaking in telangana accent. The movie is all set for a record release on July 21st in theatres. Sekhar Kammula expressed his confidence on the film.
