Salman Khan To Pay For Tubelight Losses:- Being Human and Superstar Salman Khan has been scoring massive hits over the past few years. None of his recent outings ended up in losses and they left the makers and buyers in huge profits. The actor has been occupied with back to back films and he pinned many hopes on his next movie titled Tubelight. The movie carried massive expectations as Salman has been returning back after back to back hits in his career like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan.
The actor teamed up again with Kabir Khan for the movie Tubelight which is said to be an emotional entertainer. Based in the backdrop of India - China war that took place in 1970s, Zhu Zhu and Sohail Khan played the other crucial roles in the movie. Tubelight has been sold out for massive prices and the movie has been rejected badly by the audience. Usually Salman’s films perform exceptionally during Eid and the holiday season too made no difference. Tubelight has been declared as one of the biggest debacles of Indian cinema in the recent years. The movie is sure the biggest flop in the career of Salman Khan.
With the film performing poor, the buyers and the exhibitors are said to have lost huge money. Salman Khan too was not in a mood to disappoint them and he called the buyers. He held a meeting with them and he promised to bear the losses faced by them. Trade analysts revealed that Salman Khan agreed to pay back Rs 55 crores back. Famous analyst Komal Nahta tweeted “SalmanKhan has agreed to refund monies to distributors to make up for losses in Tubelight. A lovely gesture. That's being human!”.

Tubelight minted Rs 114.50 crores and the theatrical rights have been sold out for massive prices. Salman Khan Films and Kabir Khan Productions jointly produced the movie. Salman Khan is currently busy shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai in the direction of Abbas Ali Zaffar in which Katrina Kaif is the female lead. Yash Raj Films are bankrolling the project.
