Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th movie ‘Gouthami Putra Sathakarni’ has officially launched today, in Annapurna studios.

Being the landmark film of the senior star, the project has acquired huge craze, right from the beginning. Even Balakrishna took it as a prestige issue and is  keen on making the film, a huge success.  

Krish, who earlier made some sensible films like Gamyam, Vedam, Kanche etc, would be holding the megaphone for this big project too. This is one of the reasons to increase the hopes on the project.
 
The movie has just completed the puja formalities this morning amidst of huge number of Balakrishna fans and other biggies of the film industry.

Surprisingly several co-stars like Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh attended the launch along with Telangana Chief Minister KCR, Dasari Narayana Rao, Singeetham Srinivasa Rao, Raghavendra Rao, Thammareddy Bharadwaj etc.

Muhoortham scene was shot, along with the support of all the chief guests mentioned above.

KCR, heaps surprising praises on NTR at Balakrishna’s 100th movie launch

Speaking on the occasion, KCR made some sensational statements as below.

- I am a huge fan of Sr. NTR and grew watching his films.

- There was a rumor that, NTR gardens name is going to be renamed, but it will continue to be with the same name. The reason because, NTR is not one generation star, but will remain to be a legend for the future generations.

- I wish Balakrishna would call me for the premiere show too. I would love to watch the film with my family.

Chiranjeevi’s ego-less speech at Balakrishna’s 100th movie launch

Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna are the two big stars of Tollywood, who once had tough competition. They are rarely seen together in the public meetings. But, Balakrishna inviting Chiranjeevi has become the talk of the function.

Even Venkatesh opined that the movie would be a great success and wished it to run for 200 days.

Dasari Narayana Rao, speaking on the occasion, expressed his happiness for making a movie based on a Telugu king for the first time.      

Finally, Balakrishna addressed the meeting, thanking all the fans for standing behind him, since years.

He said that he had to filter several stories and finally thought Sathakarni would be the right project for the landmark film.
