Anushka seems like gearing up to play “typical south Indian housewife” in Singham 3, her next film. The character looks like a progression from the previous editions of the project. This comes after playing the unconventional heroine in movies like Rudhramadevi, Bahubali and Size Zero.
A source said, “In the first part, Suriya and Anushka played couple in love and towards the end of the sequel, they got married. And in the third installment, she will play a typical South Indian housewife,"
"The film will be set in a village. Anushka's character will be very realistic. She will be dressed in sync with rural sensibilities. So her wardrobe will be mostly sarees," added the source.With this character, Anushka will get back to the typical heroine mode. The movie also features Shruti Haasan as a cop. There was no part of 'Singham' franchise without Anushka right from the first one till the third installment. Suriya and Anushka played as love birds in the first part. There is a lot of curiosity about Sweety’s character in the third installment of the film.
