Notable music director Devi Sri Prasad’s father Satyamurthy, had left his last breath today morning, at his residence in Chennai.

Satyamurthy was one of the famous writers in the Telugu film industry, who wrote the scripts for several hit movies in the past, like Devatha, Chanti, Bhale Donga, Challenge, Khaidi no. 786 etc.

Having an experience of working in over 90 films, Satyamurthy had good relation with all Telugu heroes. That made his son, Devi Sri Prasad enter into the film industry, with the support of industry biggies.

Finally, Devi has emerged as one of the leading music directors in the film industry, being busy with the handful of projects in Tollywood and Kollywood.

Devi many times applauded his father in several audio functions, stating that, he is the greatest strength and even judges all his music albums.

While Devi has emerged as the huge music director, Satyamurthy’s second son Sagar is being identified as a good singer, singing in his brother music albums.

But unfortunately, Satyamurthy had passed away, complaining the cardiac arrest, and thus could not feel the success of his both sons, for a few more days.
 
Satyamurthy had suffered a severe heart attack this morning and before the family members got alerted about it, he passed away. Being associated with the film industry since long, several film biggies, are expressing their condolences to Satyamurthy. His final rites would be performed in Chennai, today evening.
