A small move from a huge star like Mahesh, will influence many of his followers and fans. Especially, when it is a social cause, the influence would be more.

It is known that Super Star Mahesh recently adopted Burripalem village for developing it. His recent hit Srimanthudu, which is based on adopting the villages’ concept, boosted him to take this kind of step.
 
In fact, “Telangana government, who recently started ‘Gramajyothi’ programme was inspired from Srimanthudu movie,” said a few of the Telangana officials.
 
Among those officials, IT minister KTR took a step further and even congratulated Mahesh, for choosing a script like Srimanthudu. After wishing him, KTR suggested Mahesh, to adopt a Telangana village in Mahabubnagar, for which the actor readily accepted.

Reacting on this, Mahesh posted on twitter, which read:

“Very Humbled after receiving a congratulatory call on the success of Srimanthudu from Minister PR&RD @KTRTRS”

“He suggested I adopt a village from the most backward district of Mahbubnagar as part of their Gramajyothi initiative. I said YES more details to be announced soon..”

In fact, Mahesh earlier posted that, he was inspired from ‘smart village’ concept of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu and thus adopted his own village Burripalem. So it seems, this tweet from Mahesh, made Telangana government to let not go Mahesh towards Andhra and stay back and support Telangana itself. In fact, KTR tweet to Mahesh might be the reason for that.
