Mahesh Srimanthudu is going all the way and surpassing all the records created, other than Baahubali records.  

Srimanthudu has now achieved another rare feet. The movie collected Rs. 50 crores share. This is Mahesh’s third film to cross Rs.50 crores.

Previously Dookudu collected Rs. 57 crores and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu collected Rs. 51 crores. By the end of weekend, Srimanthudu will anyway surpass Dookudu records.

Three films of Rajinikanth crossed Rs.50 crores. Sivaji, Robo, Linga are those films. Now, after Rajinikanth, Mahesh is the second south Indian star, to possess three films, which crossed Rs. 50 crores.
     
Now the next question is, will Srimanthudu collections cross Rs. 100 crores or not? The film has gained a positive buzz and running with the houseful shows. The crowd is doubled in the weekends. However, there is a divided talk here and there and that might not show much effect, til another big film releases.

Rudramadevi, a hurdle to Srimanthudu

As Rudramadevi is scheduled to release on September 4th, Srimanthudu has a chance to cross Rs.100 crores only before that date. Rudramadevi is expected to be a visual wonder and also after a blockbuster like Baahubali, audience is waiting for Rudramadevi, which is on the similar lines of Baahubali.

So let us see, if Mahesh can thrill his fans, by collecting Rs.100 crores before Rudramadevi conquers the theaters.
