No other movie in Ravi's career has been dragged as much as Kick 2 did. The movie team, who released the trailer and also the audio of the flick long back, announced more than half a dozen release dates. But till date there is no such official confirmation from the makers about Kick 2 release date.

In the beginning, it was estimated that, Baahubali would be released in May and so thought of postponing the release to June or July. But to the shock, Baahubali was released in July. Along with this, even Rudrama Devi is also dancing with the release date for quite some time, which even made the Kick 2 makers confused and keep quite about their project for some time.  

But as of now, as Baahubali already got released and blocked the July, Srimanthudu has shifted to August. As the delay is already heavy, Kalyan Ram, the producer of Kick 2 is in a thought that, the craze of the film might be reduced if the film is more delayed. So based on this, he is planning to bring out Kick 2 after a week of Srimanthudu, i.e., on August 14th.

As per the information from the close sources, it is understood that Kick 2 is scheduled to release on the said date. However, the official confirmation regarding Kick 2 release date is expected in a day or two.
