Young and stylish actor Shahid Kapoor has put an end to all speculation about his marriage to rest by confirming that he is getting married this December. Since yesterday, the rumors about Shahid getting married to a 23 year old Mira Rajput have been in media. Mira is a third-year English honours student from Lady Sriram College in Delhi.

When asked about his marriage, Shahid said I am not engaged but what you are reading is kind of true as marriage is on the cards at the end of the year,” Shahid confirmed. The ‘Haider’ actor didn't confirm the name of that luck girl but just said, “I'll refrain from getting into details. I hope you respect that. I'm here today and I thought it was important for me to acknowledge it in front of the media. Other than that I'm just a normal guy, she's just a normal girl and we should treat it like that. I'm very happy.”

The actor who had breakups in the past with Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra met Mira at a Radha Soami Satsang Beas. Even few days back Pankaj Kapoor, father of Shahid was reportedly seen at Mira’s Chhatarpur residence, sparking the rumors that the wedding was on cards.
