Stand-up comedian Russell Peters has criticised Bollywood actor Aamir Khan over his remarks on the All India Bakchod Knockout Roast that has been in headlines over the past few weeks. The Canadian comedian who is touring India, was interviewed by Hindustan Times and when asked about his opinion on such filthy shows and actor Aamir's remarks, he slammed the latter and backed the show.

“Seriously, who is he, the so-called artist, to say that he found it violent and that AIB and rest involved should have been responsible? He did not even see it! Someone please ask him to shut up and take care of his own business,” said Russell Peters.

Actress Pooja Bedi too was not happy with Aamir's statements. She said, “I feel it's hypocritical self-styled moralists and the Aamir Khans of the world, who are more frightening and injurious. I am appalled at his sudden self-righteous mode. He has completely forgotten his body of work - the double meaning song, 'Bhaag DK Bose' in Delhi Belly, and the 'PK' poster where he left nothing to the imagination, putting Sunny Leone to shame.”

Russell Peters show is scheduled on February 17th in Hyderabad.
