Rahman nephew makes debut

Music maestro A.R. Rahman's nephew E.R. Azhar Khaasif has made his musical debut with Tamil single titled 'Kannaley,' which was released today on the eve of Valentine’s Day.  Azhar is a school drop out but learned music from his uncle Rahman by working with him at his studios. He took inspiration from Rahman to make a career in music and finally his first ever album is out.

At the launch of 'Kannaley,' Azhar said, “Music is my passion since my childhood. I often visit my uncle’s studio to learn music composition. This is my first music video and it has been a big dream for me. Wishes of Rahman uncle and my brother G.V. Prakash are with me.” The album is crooned by Javed Ali and Saranya Srinivas while the music video is directed by Ashwin.

Rahman's nephew G.V. Prakash is already quite famous in Kollywood and very recently he turned as actor too.
