Director Ram Gopal Varma has apologised for tweeting about legendary director K Balachander. Yesterday, rumours about Balachander that he died, spread like virus and many were mourning his sudden demise. RGV too tweeted condoling his death without cross checking the facts. Quite a few twitter users were shocked with RGV's post.

“My apologies for tweeting about Mr.Balachander without checking on the rumour Wishing him a speedy recovery,” wrote RGV.  Balachander was admitted in hospital on Tuesday following fever and age related alignments. Tamil film personalities are paying a visit to Balachander who is getting treated.  Doctors are releasing bulletins of his health frequently.
