Nandamuri Balakrishna who is called Balayya by his close ones is 53 today. He was born on 10th June 1960 as sixth son of the great cine and political personality N T Ramarao.
He faced the camera of the cinema at the age of 14 as a child artist in 'Thathamma Kala' he acted in the films under his father's direction. He started his film career as a hero from the movie 'Rowdy Ramudu….' directed by Raghavendra Rao after which he never looked back.
So far Srimannarayana is his last film in 2012 which was his 96th movie. At present Balayya is planning in a Boyapati Srinu's film to give an action movie like 'Simha'.
In addition to the film career Balakrishna is occupied as Chairman for the Basavatarakam Indo American Hospital and Research Institute. He is also actively participating in the politics working for Telugu Desam Party that was founded by his father.
