Dasari Narayana Rao watched Nagarjuna's recent movie Greeku Veerudu and the Director in him again came out with all flatters for Nagarjuna for his performance in the movie and also it made him see Nagarjuna as a modern replacement for Nageswara Rao in the movie Yedanthasthula Meda that will be remade with the same story but with latest techniques and slight changes here and there to suit present day audience.

Yedanthasthula Meda an old hit of Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Sujatha was made in 1980 which was a hit in those days.  Nagarjuna’s acting talent, as per Dasari, made him to actively consider remaking of an old hit of Nageswara Rao only with Nagarjuna in the lead role played by his father.

Director K.Viswanath also showed interest in making a film with Nagarjuna.  It seems Nagarjuna’s performance recharged sleeping Directors to come out express their willingness to Direct again.  

The movie Greeku Veerudu produced under the banner of Kamakshi Movies and directed by Dasaradh is well taken by Telugu audience and the victory was celebrated yesterday in which Nagarjuna, Dasaradh, K.Viswanadh, old Cine star Gitanjali, Kasi Viswanath and other cine personalities attended along with the film unit.  Nagarjuna thanked everyone connected with the making of the movie.

Nagarjuna thus got a Double Dhamaka with his successful film that is an offer from two old directors who intrigued with Nagarjuna’s acting talent that made them want to say ‘action’ again.  Is it not a tonic to boost the spirits in a professional actor who is getting a stamp of an old actor with his son Naga Chaitanya also taking hero roles in films?
