Jabardasth movie, directed by Nandini Reddy, seems to be in news for wrong reasons as it was said that the story of this film was inspired by Bollywood flick Band Baaja Baraat. Actor Nani, who was roped in for Telugu version of this film by Yash Raj Films, reportedly told the media that the production house in Mumbai might proceed legally against Jabardasth team.

Reacting on the same, Nandini Reddy has said that Jabardasth movie was not inspired by Bollywood flick but inspired by many Hollywood movies. Comparing and contrasting the characters of Siddharth-Samanth to Anushka Ranveer, the director said that lead actors in her movie play event managers whereas hero heroine in Band Baaja Baarat play wedding planners.
