Mirchi from writer turned filmmaker Koratla Siva, is a splendid effort to bring in the best out of Prabhas. His fans have been enjoying his stint in the film which shows him in almost all shades. His histrionics, dialogue delivery, dances and fights are sure to impress the front benches.

Equally impressive are the camera angles showcasing the new avatar of Richa Gangopadhyaya. Had the camera swayed a little, it would have made an impressive visual narration. However the cinematographer knew his priorities.

But Anushka Shetty stole the show with her late entry in style during the second half. One good thing with Anushka and Prabhas is, they gel well on screen due to their tall persona. And they make  wonderful onscreen couple. Acting wise Anushka has an edge above the star cast and has excelled too.

On the whole, first half is rapid and second half is wandering. Comedy King Brahmanandam was awesome and his 'home sick' is hilarious. (Wishesh AarKay)
