As such in our Indian film industry today, the heroine does not have much of an opportunity to make choice, when it comes to what role she should play and what are her interests. It is not that she is in a compulsion or something; it is just that if she desires to attain a success, then she has to go by the dictator’s terms. Well, this is a known fact. But there have also been scenarios when some heroines went by their instinct and opted out of working in certain films, because for their own reasons, in this scenario, they were successful.
Vidya balan, who attained that so called star dome after her bold avatar in ‘dirty picture’, has now become even choosier about her roles. She no more wants to act in the film where another heroine is also a part of that film and not at all keen in playing the second fiddle. This made her opt out of Sanjay Gupta’s fourth coming film, when this film maker offered her to play a second lead in his film.
Well, as of now, good for her because she is successful, but what if some time later she would be at the other side of the coin?
