After ‘Yadein’, it is a Documentary for Subhas Ghai

subhash gaiFilmmaker Subhas Ghai will be making a documentary on one of the legendary lyricist of Indian Cinema, his good friend, late Anand Bakshi. The lyricist has written more than 4500 songs, out of which 3000 songs are all time super hits. He expired in 2002.

Ghai, who associated with Bakshi alrr’s career, is all set to make this documentary as interesting. Ghai wants to show the audience, through a proper thought and adding on a creativity required, any body can make even Documentaries interesting.
 
As a part of this, the film maker is already been meeting people who are associated with Bakshi Saab. It seems even fans opinions are included in this. The documentary apart from elivating the positive side of the lyricist, focuses on his personal life too.
 
the opinions of legendary singers such as Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Amit Kumar and Pyarelal  about the writer will also be included in the documentary.
Some of Bakshi ji’s famous songs include; Bindiya chamkegi, chudi chankegi [Do Raaste in 1971], Tere mere beech mein, kaisa hai yeh bandhan anjana [Ek Duje Ke liye], Choli ke peeche kya hai [Khalnayak], Tujhe dekha toh ye jaana sanam [DDLJ], Ishq bina kya jeena yaron [Taal] and many.
 
Ghai and Bakshi started working from the formers third film ‘Gautham Govinda’ and collaborated till ‘Yaadein’ released in the year 2002
